Honorary Awards

There are a number of Honorary Awards that may be granted to Departmental employees. They are granted by the Department for Career accomplishment, exceptional support of Departmental missions, or for heroism. These include:

The Distinguished Service Award
The Meritorious Service Award
Unit Award for Excellence of Service
Outstanding Service Award
Superior Service Award
Valor Award
Exemplary Act Award

These awards are approved by the appropriate Assistant Secretary or Bureau/Office Director.
