Performance Improvement

If the employee's performance improves to an acceptable level during the period of advance notice of reassignment, demotion or removal, the supervisor may decide to keep the employee in his/her job, after considering the improved performance along with the employee's reply and other relevant factors. If they do so, and the employee continues to do an acceptable job for one year, the supervisor and the Human Resource Office must remove any record of unacceptable performance from its files on the employee. This includes a performance rating of "Results Not Achieved".
