Labor Relations
Overview
This program is in the HR Policy Division, M-13, in the Departmental Office of Human Resource Management. The program provides policy, guidance, leadership,
planning, and consulting services about labor relations in DOT.
Labor Relations concerns the relationship between union and management in the workplace.
5 USC Chapter 71 provides the basis for the Federal Labor Relations Program. The Statute establishes the parameters governing the union/management relationship and the procedures for resolving issues that arise under the Program.
